VPAT and ACR preparation.

The document enterprise and public-sector buyers ask for before they will sign.

What the document is

VPAT is the template

The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template. Filled in against a real evaluation, it becomes an ACR — an Accessibility Conformance Report.

Criterion by criterion

Each applicable success criterion marked Supports, Partially Supports, or Does Not Support, with a remark explaining the basis.

Which edition

WCAG, Section 508, EN 301 549, or the combined edition. Which one you need depends on who is buying.

Tested, not asserted

Ours are produced from actual test results. A self-assessed ACR that overstates support is a misrepresentation in a procurement process.

Why honest rows are better for you

A page of unbroken green reads as untested to any procurement officer who has seen a few of these. A report that says Partially Supports with a specific remark and a remediation date reads as a supplier who knows their own product.

It is also considerably safer. If an ACR claims support that is not there, the cost of remediation — and the contractual exposure — flows back to you.
