What we collect.
Short version: this website collects nothing. The platform collects what it needs to run and bill, and nothing beyond that.
This website
adaready.com sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts, and runs no analytics. Our web server writes standard access logs containing IP address, timestamp, requested path, and user agent. Those are kept for 14 days and used only to investigate faults and abuse.
If you submit the scan request form, we receive the details you enter and use them to run the scan and reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share the information.
The AdaReady platform
If you become a customer, the platform stores your account details, your sites, your scan results, your remediation history, and your billing status.
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We store a Stripe customer identifier and a subscription status, nothing more.
The preferences widget
The widget stores your visitor's chosen settings in their browser's local storage on your domain. That data never leaves their device.
The widget reports aggregate usage counts so we can bill accurately and show you how it is being used. Those reports contain no personal data, no cookie, no cross-site identifier, and no full URLs. Our edge servers derive a country code from the connection and discard the IP address without storing it. Sites can turn reporting off entirely, and the widget honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Barrier reports
When someone reports an accessibility barrier, we pass what they wrote to the site owner so it can be fixed. Contact details are optional and used only to follow up.
Your rights
Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. Customer data is exported in a portable format on request, whether or not you are leaving.
