We are comparing price, not equivalence. Their plans and ours do different things, which is rather the point.
Before you ask.
Does a subscription make my site conform to WCAG?
No, and no subscription from anyone can. Conformance is a property of your site, not of a vendor’s software. What the subscription buys is the work and the record: regular testing, fixes, a current statement, and a dated history of what changed and when.
Why are you cheaper than the overlay vendors?
Because we are not paying for their sales organization, and because the widget is the cheap part of what we do. The expensive part is manual review, which is why it appears on the Scale plan and in remediation projects rather than being promised on every tier.
How are visits counted?
Widget loads on your domain in a calendar month, counted at our edge. Bots and prerender requests are excluded. You can see the running count in your dashboard at any time.
What happens if I go over the limit?
Nothing happens to your site. The widget keeps working exactly as before — we will never degrade a live site over billing. You get an email at 80% and again at 100%, and reporting in your dashboard pauses until the plan is adjusted.
Can automated scanning find everything?
No. Automated testing reliably detects roughly 30–40% of WCAG success criteria. Meaningful alt text, logical focus order and whether an error message actually helps all need a person. That is why manual review is a named, limited quantity on our plans rather than an implied everything.
Is the widget required?
No. It is included on every plan and some visitors find it genuinely useful, but the audit, remediation, monitoring and reporting all work without it. Several clients run the program with no widget at all.
What does annual billing actually save?
Between 21% and 33% depending on the plan — 32% on Essential, 33% on Growth, 21% on Scale. We would rather show the real figures than round them all to a tidier number. Annual plans are billed once up front; monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the current period.
Who owns the work?
You do. Fixes live in your source. Reports, scan data and the remediation history are exported on request in a portable format, whether or not you stay with us.
